Week 4

Another exciting week for Room 2!  We have finished Hot shots Tennis and have enjoyed learning how to hit a ball using backhand and forehand and two different styles of serving.  A reminder that swimming will start on Monday. We are swimming at 11.am daily for the next 3 weeks🏊🏽🏊🏽🏊🏽. If you can help with swimming please let me know.😊

We have been spending time with our buddy class and we are learning a song using sign language that we hope to share at a whole school assembly. We. Love the song.🎧🎤.

We have also been working on our inquiry learning. This is Globalisation and we have questions that we are researching in groups.  We have discussed what a Trentham Kid would look like and displayed our work on our Wonder Wall.  Here are our photos for this week.  Enjoy,

Week Three

It has been a very busy week this week.  We have been learning about statistics during maths time,📊📈 writing stories describing characters,🐶 playing tennis🎾🎾 but one of the best things we have learning about is kindness our value of the term.👭  We have a very kind class and we are very sad to see that one of our kindest classmates is leaving today.  Liam Aitken we will miss you but wish you all the very best at Willowbank school in Auckland. I have talked to staff at your school and they are really looking forward to meeting you especially your new teacher Miss Ross. 😢😢😢

We are also using seesaw and sum dog on the IPads to help with our writing and maths and each of us have a dojo monster where we can collect points and rewards for demonstrating the good behaviour goals that we have chosen for our class.  Exciting!!

Hot shot tennis
