Capital E Trip

We had a great trip into Wellington on a double decker bus.  We saw three very different and excellent shows called Carnival of the animals, Caterpillars and Dirt and other amazing things.  A big thank you to our mums that came to help, Angela, Rachael and Raquel.  We couldn't have done it without you and we hope you enjoyed your day!  Here are some of the photos from the day. Unfortunately we couldn't take any of the shows.

Time for a drink and a bite to eat.

This was our last show and on the stage were piles of bark chips, dirt and leaves.  On the barrels were cloves, spices and vanilla pods. This theatre at shed 6 smelt amazing and an awesome show!

Robotic Dinosaur

On Thursday we were lucky enough to have a robotic dinosaur visit our school. It made heaps of noise but was really friendly.  It was a baby T-Rex and these were the photos we took.

Triathlon

Well done to room 2 who took part in the triathlon on Friday the 6th march.  The weather was windy with a few showers but that didn't stop all the students from Matau taking part.  Congratulations to everyone in our class and a special well done to Laila who came first in the year 3 girls and Tyson who came second in the year 4 boys.
