Book Character Day

Well last Friday we had a fantastic time in our costumes. We had Snow White, Cats, a Ninja, Princesses, Zombies, a Dinosaur and more.  The school had a parade to show off all the different characters. It was a bit windy but everyone looked awesome.  Here are our photos.

Animal Week

Well  what a week we have had. We have made a piñata for the food fiesta in the shape of Nemo and Room 2 would like to thank everyone who voted for him.  

Zane H brought his rabbit in for a visit. Sooo cuddly and cute and Mrs Garner's husband brought their puppy Cooper in for us to see. 

We love having these furry friends in the classroom. Here are the photos of these lovely animals.

Marae Visit

Last week Matau and patu Syndicate went to Orongomai Marae to look at their tukutuku panels.  We listened to the stories that represented the different panels. We listened to karakia and sang a waiata . Room 2 came back with some awesome ideas and from our own ideas we have come up with a brilliant design that represents us.  Thank you to the parents that are going to help us with our weaving.   Mrs Garner will be in contact next week with a roster/time that suits you.  Meanwhile enjoy the lovely photos we took.
