Science rotations

Well we have been preparing, experimenting and waiting for the day where we could share our activities and try other students experiments. We have had a great couple of days visiting other classes and seeing what they have been up to. We have seen so many different experiments and been involved in some trials. Here are photos of our class getting ready.

Now we have the students from other classes trying our experiments. Here are the photos!

Soooo cold!

Boy do these veges smell but we did find out that salt water preserves veges longer than fresh water.

Does it float or will it sink?

Which items are magnetic and which ones are not?

We even got a few photos from the other classes.

We even got the parents to have a go!

Is there iron in these cereals?

We chose our own experiments and researched them own our own. We are really happy how they turned out.

Expression Trip

We had a wonderful time at Expressions yesterday.  Room 2 would like to thank our mums Marnie, Maria and Raquel for their help.  You were awesome!!  We enjoyed learning about Buttlers Birds and we had time to create our own stamp by sketching our favourite bird.  When we went into the other room we were amazed at all the different activities that we could have a play with relating to sound.  This was really interesting.  We were allowed to try them all some with the help from our parents.  We also made a kazoo using ice block sticks and balloons.  We had such fun at Expressions and we are looking forward to going to some more exhibitions in the future.  PS we loved the bus ride too. Haha.
Check out our photo's.
