2D 3D shapes
In room 2 we have making 3D shapes and doing 2D activities with our buddy class. Here are the 3D shapes we created.

The Rocky Shore Trip
On Tuesday Matau visited the Island Bay Marine Reserve. Room 2 would like to thank our parents, Wendy, Maria, Rachael and Lucy for looking after us. We had so much fan especially at the rock pools and the touch tank. We have learnt heaps about the Rocky shore like sea cucumbers and turtles can breathe through their bottoms hehe. The whole day was awesome and to prove it here are some photo's of us exploring and showing you some of the creatures we saw.
Habitats
In Room 2 we have been looking at all the different habitats that animals can live in. We really enjoy learning about the Rocky Shore habitat and we are looking forward to visiting the Rocky Shore in Island Bay next week. Kezia and Leanne brought their sea horses to school for us to examine. Here are the photo's.
